Leicester Riders completed a memorable treble in dominant fashion after beating Esh Group Eagles Newcastle 84-63 in the Play-Off Final in front of 14,500 at The O2.

12 years ago Manchester hosted the 17th Commonwealth Games. Now as Glasgow 2014 invites the world to the party, BBC Radio Manchester used today the 28/07/2014 to celebrate the Games being in Glasgow and to look back at the joy that was spread back in Manchester 2002.

Last Monday evening saw a wonderful Netball encounter between Manchester Thunder and Hertfordshire Mavericks in front of the SKY Sports cameras. It was a truly wonderful event with the Mavericks having the best of it early in the game but with Manchester coming good when it mattered. The fans were loud and the atmosphere...ELECTRIC.

This Yorkshire Jets' team list is as per the game on 30 January 2015 which was played at the EIS Sheffield. The opponents were Loughborough Lightning. The Jets would run out winners by a scoreline of 70 - 44.

GB Men Settle for silver as USA take Gold

In the wheelchair basketball, Simon Munn top-scored with 16 for Great Britain in a game that could have gone either way. The joint-team leader, who will this summer compete in his sixth Paralympic Games, led ably from the front, but ultimately USA, inspired by top-scorer Jason Nelms with 17 points, were simply too good.
