In the first 2 encounters the University of Sheffield had comfortable victories. And as we lined up for the final encounter the University of Sheffield were heading for a clean sweep. But nobody told Hallam who put on a magnificent performance to take the Men’s Basketball by a scoreline of 58-62. The top scorer was Ignas Kliucevicius with a magnificent 24 points. Sheffield might have taken the competition by 2 to 1 but in my humble opinion the winner on this wonderful day was SPORT! Roll on next year!
