The second period saw the Tigers try desperately to get themselves back into the contest, but turnovers cost them dearly, and some pin-point accuracy in the shooting stats from the Wolves helped the visitors overhaul their hosts and open up a 10-point lead at 31-41 heading into the locker rooms at the half.
In the second half, the Tigers continued to try and keep themselves in the contest, but the Wolves shooting continued to provide the visitors with a platform to further extend their advantage as they were able to pull away and take a 44-61 lead into the final stanza.
In the final stanza, the Tigers began to show their in-experience down the stretch and this cost them easy baskets resulting in turnovers and the Wolves capitalised on those with baskets in transition of their own. The Tigers fought valiantly to the end of the game, but it was not enough to prevent the Wolves enjoying their biggest lead of the game at 32 points as time expired on the contest with the score at 54-86.
