Sheffield Hatters have lifted the inaugural WBBL Title. There may have been a change in the official name of the organisation but there is little change in the outcome of the biggest of the competitions. The Hatters were pushed hard by the Nottingham Wildcats, but in the end it would be the perennial winners who would stand tall.

After Sunday's results in the BBL Championship, the fate of the final Play-Off spot will be decided between Bristol Flyers, Manchester Giants and Plymouth University Raiders, as Durham Wildcats and Leeds Force were officially eliminated from contention after Leicester Riders posted a big win against Wildcats at the Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre.
