There were wins for four teams on a busy Sunday afternoon of BBL action. BBL Championship leaders Esh Group Eagles Newcastle made light work of despatching Manchester Giants to consolidate top spot as they secured a 117-87 road win.

Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters made history by winning the inaugural WBBL Championship season, after edging their season-long rivals Nottingham Wildcats in the standings with a 74-64 victory in the title-decider on the last weekend of the regular season.

Delighted to have been part of a wonderful experiment by Equity Housing, who put on a special day to engage with the customers and to get feedback on the services they provide. It was truly wonderful.

Good Morning and Welcome to the 2015 Incommunities Staff Conference. My name is Mike Shaft from BBC Radio Manchester, and I will be your host for the next couple of hours. We have a packed session for you this morning. Charles Smith , Esh Group Eagles Newcastle captain and one of the greatest BBL personalities, was the man of the hour for his team in the BBL Trophy Final, as the Newcastle club celebrated their second title of the season after defeating Leicester Riders at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
