The teams came into the game with an identical 16-1 record in the league table, but it was WBBL Trophy winners Hatters who celebrated another title at the end of the day.

Set to face the newly crowned league champions in the Quarter Finals, Suns showed no mercy against Leeds Beckett University, steamrolling the only winless team in the WBBL Championship 102-34 behind spectacular performances by Francis Donders and Catherine Carr, who combined for 57 points.

Team Northumbria will be feeling good about their chances in the Play-Offs after defeating their Quarter Finals opponents Barking Abbey Crusaders 65-45 in a defensive-minded game to wrap up the regular season for both sides.

Kayla Mobley and Teresa Manigrasso collected 19 and 14 points respectively for Team Northumbria, while Evelyn Adebayo added 14 points and eight points for Crusaders off the bench.

Meanwhile, Cardiff Met Archers registered an 88-70 victory against Manchester Mystics after a strong fourth-quarter performance by Jessica Jenkins, who finished the game with 25 points.

The fifth-placed Cardiff side will meet Leicester Riders in the Quarter Finals, while Mystics will try to stop WBBL Championship runners-up Nottingham Wildcats.
