The BBL have today announced that they will be managing the Cheshire Franchise on an interim basis, whilst they have discussions with potential new owners for the club.

As a result, the BBL are pleased to confirm that the club will be fulfilling their forthcoming fixtures, including the scheduled game against Mersey Tigers this weekend (Sunday 5.30pm @ Northgate Arena).

Cheshire Captain Chez Marks enthused: “This decision gives the team and the people of Cheshire a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate to any potential new owner how much this club means to the local community. I would call on all supporters of the club past & present, indeed anybody who would like to see the club continue, to come down to the game on Sunday and show their support. The club has played in some major Finals in the past but in many ways the game this weekend is perhaps the biggest of them all. Your club needs your support!”

Tickets for the game on Sunday are available in advance from the BBL Store www.bbl.org.uk or on the door on the day of the game.
