So it is 4:00am on Sunday morning the 19th of April, and I am in front of the computer updating mikeshaft.com. This really is one of the biggest days in British Basketball as it is the last day of the 2008/09 BBL regular season, and the day of the EBL Final Fours at the Amaechi Centre.


Well here we are at the start of what could be yet another memorable week for the Sheffield Sharks. Tonight’s game will see the Sharks take on the Leicester Riders in the 1st leg of the BBL Cup semi-final, here at the EISS. The second leg will take place tomorrow night at the John Sandford Centre, home of the Leicester Riders.


I suppose the first time I got a sense of something going on was a couple of months ago when I got a warning e-mail from my service provider saying I was close to exceeding my bandwidth allowance.
