So yesterday, I check out the basketball schedules and I decide that a road trip was in order. The Sheffield Junior Sharks were playing 2 Cup Semi-Finals against Manchester/Trafford at the EISS, Sheffield and I really wanted to see these games. However The Cheshire Jets were also playing at home against the Leicester Riders in the BBL Trophy and the situation there was really interesting.

I have to admit that when, a few months ago, Karl Brown asked me to take part in this event I had no idea what I was agreeing to. All he told me was that there would be an U17s tournament plus the All Star Game. As usual I took my camera with me.

Everton Tigers won their first ever BBL title on Sunday, as they destroyed the Airwaves Plymouth Raiders 103-49 in a most one sided BBL Cup Final at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
