Welcome to year 5 of the Capture The Cathedral Photographic Competition. And what a joy it was, once again, to join the judging panel of this wonderful competition. There were over 300 entries, and after much deliberations we, the judges, were able to come up with out 4 winners.

On Sunday the 23rd of July 2017, hundreds gathered in Manchester Cathedral to celebrate diversity in song, dance, food, fun and fellowship. This was another truly wonderful event with many many highlights.

On Saturday the 22nd of July 2017, the British Basketball world came together to say goodbye to one of the Legends of the British Game. Some weeks earlier, Drew Sullivan had announced his retirement from the BBL. Drew had won it all in the British game including Championships, MVPs, Trophies and Cups. Without doubt, one of his greatest moments was winning a Bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. There is no doubt that when the ball goes up for the start of the next season, Drew Sullivan will be sorely missed. #thanksdrew

On the 13th of July 2017 all roads led to the Chesford Grange Hotel, Warwickshire for the TPAS National Finals 2017. This very special night would see our special 10th Anniversary celebrations. It has been my great pleasure to host every TPAS Awards Ceremony over the past 10 years. I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to everyone who has worked over the past decade to ensure the success of this wonderful event.

Saturday the 8th of July saw the wonderful Sparkle take place in Manchester. It was a joy to behold. I had the great pleasure of hosting the Awards and the Gala Ball as well. It was truly a weekend to remember.

Well after another amazing Netball season, Staff, Players, Volunteers, Sponsors, and Fans headed to the Fabulous Hotel Football for the End of Season Awards. It was a truly amazing night and I think, a good time was had by all!

Manchester Thunder finished the regular season in style with a 60-45 victory over Severn Stars, and will now head into the Final Four in Birmingham to play Wasps with confidence. It was a match with a colourful twist as the Thunderdome showed support for the Stonewall campaign, which encourages equality in sport for the LGBT community.

Friday the 7th of April 2017, and it was time once again for us to get together for the TPAS North Region Awards Final. Congratulations to all the Nominees and the eventual winners. On now to the National Finals and very best wishes to all the Regional Finalists.

This year 2017, we at TPAS are celebrating our 10th year of the TPAS Awards. Our second stop was as usual Central, and another amazing day at St Johns Hotel, Solihull. Once again, congratulations to all of our nominees and all of our winners.
