Well at the end of another very successful season, the Manchester Thunder Players, Staff , Fans, Volunteers and Sponsors got together at Hotel Football for the 2018 Awards. It was joy beyond words!

On Monday the 7th of May 2018, Manchester Thunder entertained Loughborough Lightning at Belle Vue and what an event it was! The high-light was welcoming home England Netball Coach Tracey Neville to the game. She had just led her team to Gold at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. It just had to be something special.

Last Monday the 30th of April saw the DBL Sharks Sheffield 'End of Season' Dinner. It was, once again, an absolute joy to be a part of it.

And so it was that the battles for the first trophies of 2018 were fought out at Arena Birmingham on Sunday the 28th of January. The day was an absolute joy and congratulations must go to Nottingham Wildcats and Cheshire Phoenix who walked away with the Silverware.

6th December 2017 and we headed for the Builders Conference Live Awards 2017 at the fabulous Savoy Hotel in London. And what an afternoon it was! A full house enjoyed a wonderful meal and also great entertainment presented by the one and only Gerald Ratner who told us his wonderful, if a little bit scary, story. And then it was on to the Awards. Congratulations to all the winners!

On Thursday the 9th of November 2017, friends and family came together to say goodbye to one of the most influential human beings I have ever had the pleasure to meet...My Man! Mr Kevin Cadle. There were many tributes to Kevin or Michael as he was known to his family who had made the trip over from the States. Perhaps the most moving tribute came from one of his dearest friends in the UK, Renaldo Lawrence. Renaldo finished his tribute with a letter he wrote to Kevin soon after Kevin's death was announced. The applause at the end told us all what Kevin meant to him and to all who knew him.

Welcome to year 5 of the Capture The Cathedral Photographic Competition. And what a joy it was, once again, to join the judging panel of this wonderful competition. There were over 300 entries, and after much deliberations we, the judges, were able to come up with out 4 winners.

On Sunday the 23rd of July 2017, hundreds gathered in Manchester Cathedral to celebrate diversity in song, dance, food, fun and fellowship. This was another truly wonderful event with many many highlights.
