Oh My Goodness! What a magnificent days sporting action that was! Women's Basketball, Netball and Men's Basketball. The competition was between The University of Sheffield and bitter rivals Sheffield Hallam University.

Well after 25 years doing In-house Play by Play for the BBraun Sheffield Sharks I have decided to depart. This has been a long time coming. It was 3 years ago that I took the decision to leave both the Sharks and the Phoenix.

Well, we're a little bit late with this report but the weekend of Saturday 10th February 2024 was a very special one for me. It started at City of Leeds who were taking on Sheffield Elite in D3. Now as you can imagine I have seen a good few basketball games in my time and this was one of the best ever!

And, as 2024 comes around, the word is out that Colourful Drive with Mike Shaft is coming to an end! Our final show will be broadcast on Wednesday the 31st of January 2024! I do hope you will be able to join me for our final programme together!
