All those years ago when I agreed to start doing the Gospel Hour, little did I realize how successful it would be and how long it would las. We are now on Episode 588 and more to come. It has been an absolute blast!


When the Lockdown occurred in the UK, the players from the B Braun Sheffield Sharks quickly departed and the programme was put on hold. In the build-up to the new season, the Sharks started putting a new team together and decided to make the announcements on Facebook every Wednesday evening at 7:30. I had the great pleasure of making those announcements.


Following the Government announcement on 22 September that fans will not be allowed back to sporting events, we are currently assessing the impact this will have on professional basketball in the UK.


Today, BBC Radio Manchester (fmr GMR) is celebrating its 50th Birthday. I have had the great pleasure of being a part of it for 21 years in 2 stints. My 1st encounter was in 1986 when, after being interviewed by the legendary and Late Phil Sayer, the then Manager, Tony Inchley offered me a job on the spot.


As a concept, the Chill Zone was born some years ago. The idea was to play some of the more laidback tracks in the collection. It has become something rather special because of the quality of the tunes we play and the variety. We are going to document All the Chill Zone tracks that we have played from day 1 on Colourful Drive on Colourful Radio.
