After three BBL Cup quarter-finals last weekend, it's back to the cut and thrust of BBL Championship action.

Well Cheshire Phoenix finally got the win that they have been looking for. This always was going to be a defining week in the history of the new-look Phoenix. Friday's defeat to Sheffield was certainly a set-back.

Each year for about the past 10 years, the Sunday Breakfast programme has paid tribute to the fallen on Remembrance Sunday. This year we had the great pleasure of interviewing Harold Addie, a veteran of the D DAY landings in Normandy. Our reading of the poem 'For the Fallen' was done by Phil Sayer.

Cheshire Phoenix big man Demond Watt has been rewarded for lighting up the league in the first five weeks of the new season by being crowned Molten BBL Player of the Month.

Andreas Kapoulas has added to the buzz around newcomers Bristol Flyers by receiving the first Molten BBL Coach of the Month accolade of the 2014-15 campaign.

The draw for the semi-finals of the 2015 BBL Cup has taken place and the door has been left open for a potential third successive Final between holders Leicester Riders and Esh Group Eagles Newcastle.
