Callum puts pen to paper again

He joins Stefan Gill and David Watts, who both signed last week, among the first names on head coach Jeff Jones’ roster for the new campaign.
The 28-year-old, who played for Worcester Wolves between 2010 and 2012, had an injury-distrupted season in 2013-14.
He returned to the Giants’ ranks midway through the campaign after suffering an ankle problem, averaging 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game as the team made a late run into the BBL play-offs.
Coach Jeff Jones said: “Callum has had a tough time with injuries in the last couple of years but he showed at the end of last season what an important player he can be for the club.
“He made a big impact in our push for the play-offs and I think we will see even more from him next season when he is fully fit.”
The Giants will have a new home at the Lucozade Powerleague Trafford Soccerdome in 2014-15 and will play their first match at the venue in a pre-season friendly against a USA Select on Sunday, September 7 (6pm). Tickets will be available from manchestergiants.com.
