It was a joy to see some of those old faces now playing at this higher level.

The biggest shock of the weekend was probably the defeat of Sheffield Hatters by Loughborough Riders while there was joy unbounded as Leeds Carnegie lifted the trophy in their final season in Division 1 before stepping up to the BBL.
