This Thursday 14th February at 13:00UK The New SUNSET Radio will give you another chance to hear one of our favourite interviews from back in the day. It is with Manchester Music legend the late Tony Wilson. This is the interview mentioned in this tribute to Tony written after his death in 2007. Take a listen. I hope you like it.

Andrew Bridge began his basketball playing career with Mansfield before being picked up by Chris Finch at the Sharks. After 5 years in Sheffield, Andrew would head for Newcastle where he would become part of the most successful Franchise in the British Game. I am delighted that I was able to put a few questions to him.

And so on to part 2 of my interview with Legendary Manchester Giants player Mark Robinson. Mark has always been known as a man who speaks his mind and here he tells it like it is about the British game.

Legend is one of those terms used to describe players who tend to have been around a long time but occasional along comes someone who is not around for that long a time but who had such an impact that the term Legend fits him perfectly.

Julie Page has been around Europe’s leading leagues since completing her college career at Eastern Washington University, USA, where she was named in the Big Sky All-Conference Team in 2006. She spent the first two years of her professional career in Germany with Saarlouis, winning the German Cup in 2006.

In this feature I am trying to pay tribute to the people around British Basketball whose hard work and dedication make our Sport 'The Joy that it is’.

Well she has been playing basketball at the very top level for the past 12 years in one of the best programmes in the British game, The Sheffield Hatters. But Lisa Hutchinson-Mann recently announced her retirement from he game after failing to get selected for the Great Britain Olympics squad.

One of Great Britain's most successful athletes is Sarah Storey. She started out as a Paralympic swimmer changing to cycling after discovering that she was very good at it. In the run-up to the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, I am delighted to say that I got the opportunity to put some questions to her.

Over the years, there have been a number of people who have helped me along the way and others who have inspired me to try even harder. I know that I will not have remembered them all, but in this space I would like to pay tribute to just some of those people. Remember, I might have missed you for now but, new names will be added in the coming weeks.
