Esh Group Eagles Newcastle can claim a sixth BBL Play-off title in 10 years at Wembley Arena on Sunday - but standing in their way will be a Worcester Wolves side desperate to end their best season on a high.

It promises to be an exciting summer for Leeds Carnegie as they continue with their preparations to make a successful transition into the top flight of Club basketball in the UK, as they enter the British Basketball League for the 2014-15 campaign.

The 2014 Junior Final Fours were held at the EISS in Sheffield this past weekend and I had the great pleasure of looking after the U14s Boys and Girls.

So we now know who the 2014 Play-Off Finalists are. It will be the Worcester Wolves and Newcastle Eagles.

Leeds Carnegie Basketball claimed their first playoff crown in what will go down as an instant classic.

And so with Round 1 of the Play-Offs complete, the top 4 have all taken their place as the Final 4. One sad note on the week's events was the injury to Victor Moses of the Cheshire Phoenix.

Friday sees the first round games of the 2014 Play-Offs, Eagles v Wildcats, Lions v Wolves and the Phoenix v Riders. Game 4 takes place on Saturday between the Giants v Sharks.

Leeds Carnegie Basketball face the biggest weekend in the club’s history as they look to finish their tenure in Division One with the ultimate piece of silverware.
