The BBL Play Off picture still remains in doubt as the 7 & 8 places are still very much up for grabs. Sheffield and Bristol are now in those positions but Manchester, Durham and Plymouth could all still make the Postseason party. At the top Eagles should soon be crowned Champions while Glasgow and London (5&6) could still secure home court advantage. Still all to play for.

Last Friday night, Legend of the British game Lynard Stewart was inducted into the Newcastle Eagles' Hall of Fame. The game on the night would see the hometown Newcastle Eagles crush the Cheshire Phoenix.

At their home game on the 13th of March, the Newcastle Eagles will induct one of my favourite players into their Hall of Fame. I first got to know Lynard Stewart when he arrived in the UK to play for the Sheffield Sharks. Recently I came across this article which was published in the Sharks' programme dated 26 August 2008. I thought I'd reprint it here in celebration of a truly great player.

Well we continue our MVP Watch for the 2014/15 BBL Season. And today a new name joins the conversation, it is that of Tyler Bernadini of the Leicester Riders. Going out of the conversation is Phoenix guard Mike DiNunno whose chances have been destroyed by injury.

Leicester Riders will meet Newcastle Eagles in the BBL Trophy Final on Sunday, March 22 after coming through their semi-final against London Lions.
