The British Basketball League is delighted to announce that Sir Rodney Walker has agreed to become Chairman of the BBL.


On Saturday 27th August 2016, Great Britain Men’s Basketball team take on the famous ‘Orange Lions’ of the Netherlands at the newly built National Basketball Performance Centre at Belle Vue Sports Village. Tip off time 7pm. This is an international friendly prior to the Fiba Eurobasket qualifiers which are being played at the Copperbox in September.


Our fantastic Captain David Aliu has announced today his retirement after a amazing professional career. David spent two years as Cheshire Phoenix captain over seasons 14/15 & 15/16 after a spell with Manchester Giants.
