We headed off to our retreat, The Green Roof Inn. We'd booked the bungalow, a single roomed wooden building with a bathroom, set away from the main house. The bed which was huge and covered in netting took up most of the room. Immediately outside was seating and the sea was a hop, skip and jump away but not accessible.

The 2014 Junior Final Fours were held at the EISS in Sheffield this past weekend and I had the great pleasure of looking after the U14s Boys and Girls.

Last Saturday night saw a number of former staff on the programmes Open Air and People Today gather in Central Manchester to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the programmes. Here are some photos of this wonderful night. Mike Shaft report to follow.
