However I was persuaded by both organisations to do 1 more season. I duly completed that season and departed the Phoenix. However, as the Sharks were moving into their new Arena I offered to do 1 more season to help them settle in at the ‘Wonderful’ Canon Medical Arena.
The Sharks have completed the regular season finishing in 4th place. The Play-Offs are now on the horizon.
I have to say I was astonished by the wonderful messages I have received when the news broke on Friday that I was leaving. I am also heartened by the number of former players, and fans of different teams who took the time to wish me the best. I will try and post as many of these as I can, here on mikeshaft.com.
From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your joyous messages.

I have never followed Basket Ball, but have always been aware of your involvement.
