Each year for the past 4 years, a very special photographic competition, called Capture The Cathedral, has been held. The only brief of the competition is to capture the best photographs of Manchester Cathedral in one of three Categories. Architecture and Stained Glass, Cathedral at Night and Something Special. This is my third year of being on the Judging Panel and I can say it was, once again, an absolute joy. Congratulations to all the entrants, all the finalists, the Category winners and the Overall Winner. We hope you will thinking about entering next year.

Our fantastic Captain David Aliu has announced today his retirement after a amazing professional career. David spent two years as Cheshire Phoenix captain over seasons 14/15 & 15/16 after a spell with Manchester Giants.

On Friday the 1st of July 2016, I had the great pleasure of, once again, hosting the 'One Future' Oldham Sports Awards with the delightful Beth Tweddle and Rugby League legend Paul Sculthorpe as our special guests. A good night was had by all and and once again I say congratulation to all of the night's big winners.
