That Winning Moment
Our next photo, is one of my all-time favourite basketball photographs. I remember dubbing it ‘That winning moment’ back in the day. The Sheffield Sharks had just won the uni-ball trophy and as Head Coach Chris Finch turned around to celebrate, the photographer got the shot.

What a Match-Up
Our next photo, is an action photo of two of my favourite guards in the British Game, back in the day.
Casey Arena, with the ball, played with great distinction for the Thames Valley Tigers while Travis Conlan played, first for the Sheffield Sharks, and then for the Manchester Giants.
It was an absolute joy to come across this photo in my collection.

Steve Bucknall
Our next photo, features one of British Basketball’s greatest names, Steve Bucknall.
Steve played his ball mainly for the London Towers but has also featured for Leicester Riders, Birmingham Bullets and Crystal Palace.
Back in the day (Circa 1989) Bucknall became the third British player to play in the NBA. Steve played for the LA Lakers in the world’s greatest Basketball League.
