Newcastle Eagles claimed their third BBL Cup success with an 84-71 defeat of Glasgow Rocks in a high-octane final at Birmingham's Barclaycard Arena on Sunday.


While all eyes are fixed on Sunday's BBL Cup showdown at the Barclaycard Arena on Sunday between Rocks and Eagles, there are also five exciting BBL Championship games to savour, including the return of the 2010 BBL MVP, Mike Cook.


Saturday night will see just two games in the BBL with Bristol Flyers welcoming Leicester Riders and Durham Wildcats making the long trip to Surrey United.


Following recent results of the Sheffield Sharks the club would like to announce their decision to release American Allen Payne with immediate effect.


Leeds Force are delighted to announce the loan signing of GB international Devon Van Oostrum. The 6’3” guard is considered, by many, to be the best British basketball player of his generation and has been plying his trade in Croatia and Finland so far this season.


Friday night will see three games in the BBL Championship including a top of the table clash between Worcester Wolves and Newcastle Eagles. Also on the same night, Leeds Force will entertain Plymouth Raiders and Sheffield Sharks have a monster home game against the hi-flying Cheshire Phoenix.
