They say 25 years is a long time but it feels like is was just a few years ago. Sunset Radio launched on the 22nd of October 1989 after years of campaigning for this type of radio station. Back in the days of Sunset Radio we were offered two tickets to attend the Motown Convention taking place in Kingston, Jamaica. I decided that one of our journalists, Marilyn Comrie, would attend and we would have a competition to find a listener to accompany her on the trip.
