GB Women’s Team – People Who Make Basketball ‘The Joy That It Is’

With the seconds ticking away GB were up by 3 and well on the way to victory but the French guard Celine Dumerc tied the game on the buzzer to take it to overtime.

At the end of overtime Great Britain were tied with the French and ready to take it to another period of overtime. But Celine Dumerc would break Great Britain hearts again with a buzzer beating triple to win the game.

France in the end would take the Silver medal in the Olympics behind Team USA.

The GB Women performance at Eurobasket was also a joy to behold coming away with a couple of victories.
