A Video Tribute from Ali & Alistair Hutchison

[playlist type="video" ids="28333"] Landing the job at BBC Radio Manchester was another answer to prayers and the last 20 years have been an absolute joy. I really can't end this without saying massive thankyou to the 2 substantive Producers we've had on the show. Without Ali Hutchison [Above] and Rebecca Kelly [Below] the show would not be where it is today.

Also I must thank two very special Managing Editors. Firstly Tim Pemberton who brought me back to the BBC for the Commonwealth Games Radio Station. Tim is now Head of Religion and Ethics at the BBC. The second is the present boss at BBC Radio Manchester Kate Squire who has been at the station for the past 10 years and who has been a wonderful supporter to the Sunday Breakfast Programme and to me personally. When it was announced that I was leaving the show, many people suggested that I was retiring. Nothing could be further from the truth. I love what I am doing and I have no intention of retiring! Below are a small selection of messages I received when my departure from BBC Radio Manchester was announced. My sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to send such wonderful tidings. More will be added in the coming days.
