British Basketball history has already been made before a ball has been bounced at the 02 Arena for the spectacular 2015 BBL Play-Off Final and Hoops Aid double bill.

After a stunning run of ticket sales, the crowd at the showpiece event is already destined to be the largest to have ever watched a professional domestic game in the UK.

With a BBL attendance record now assured, fans without tickets and still wanting to attend the are being warned to buy their tickets as soon as possible.

HoopsAid_logo_device1On a landmark day for the sport, supporters will not only get to see the cream of the British Basketball League compete for the last silverware of the 2014-15 campaign, but also get involved in what is sure to be an exciting Hoops Aid 2015.

Already confirmed for the charity appetiser is top film and TV star Colin Salmon, who has appeared in hit blockbuster films such as Resident Evil, Alien vs. Predator and several James Bond films including The World is Not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Die Another Day.

Joining him will also be Jermain Jackman, the winner of the hit BBC talent show The Voice. Other confirmed names include TV personality Calum Best, ex-GB Olympian John Regis, Shameless actor Jody Latham, 3x 110m Hurdler Olympian Andy Turner, ex-NBA star Priest Lauderdale, BBC Breakfast sport presenter Mike Bushell, Pirates of the Caribbean actor Winston Ellis and the world’s strongest footballer and Soccer AM star Adebayo “The Beast” Akinfenwa.

It was also confirmed that Britain’s Got Talent finalists Flawless, a dance troupe who have starred in the hit Street Dance film series, will be appearing on the day. Amidst the spectacular backdrop of The O2, this fantastic double-bill promises to be a memorable day for the British Basketball family and time is running out to make sure you are present for the historical and memorable event.

Tickets are now on general sale for the 2015 BBL Play-off Final which will take place at the The O2 on 10 May 2015.
