Leicester Riders

Our next photo truly tells a story.

In 2013 the Leicester Riders did the treble lifting the BBL Cup, The League Title and the Play-Off Championship.

Newer readers might think that this was the 1st time that the Organisation had had some success. It is not!

Back in the day under Head Coach Billy Mims, the Riders did the double including the Play-Off Championship. Players in this team included Karl Brown, Billy Singleton, Ralph Blalock and Malcolm Leak.

Budweiser Babes

For a time, back in the day, the BBL was known as the Budweiser Basketball League. The Budweiser Babes were the official dancers of the Budweiser Basketball League
