Watt won the first player gong of the season and is the winner once again, after an astonishing effort in his three outings during the month which harvested an unprecedented performance valuation average in excess of 31.

That was made possible by a stellar shooting display which saw him make 28 of 35 attempts to return an eye-popping 84.8% from the field, which was unsurprisingly by far the best in the BBL.

Even more impressively, his haul came against three opponents gunning for silverware in Glasgow Rocks, Worcester Wolves and London Lions.

Watt amassed an excellent 22 points per game and also did the business on the glass to complete a classy monthly double-double, adding 12.3 rebounds per game to his name.

The closest challenger to Watt was Plymouth University Raiders’ playmaker Josh Wilcher.
