The 6’8” small forward finished the season averaging 11.2 points and 6 rebounds per game, even more impressively he shot 48% from behind the three point line.

Leeds Force Head Coach Matt Newby is looking forward to having Mikulic in his first BBL roster saying “Branimir was great for us last season and proved integral to the development of a playoff championship team. He showed a great deal of resolve and fought through some tough phases of the year when injury and fatigue were taking their toll. We expect him to factor strongly in our inaugural BBL season”

Mikulic is the club’s second confirmed resigning as they look to build a competitive BBL squad capable of taking on the best teams in the country. He is pleased to be back in the purple and white saying “I was extremely glad to be part of a winning team and leave Division One as a champion. Now the club is stepping up to the next level I am pleased that I will be part of an historical moment for basketball in Leeds. The BBL will be a challenge but I am sure that we will put up a good fight against any team in the league. I am looking forward to next season and I am happy to continue to work with Coach Newby and his staff next year”

Mikulic is Leeds seventh confirmed signing as they signal their intention to make an impact in the BBL at the first time of asking. The Force’s roster will continue to take shape over the coming weeks as the club prepare for life in the UK’s premier basketball league.

Fans excited about the opportunity to see BBL action in Leeds are, for a limited period, being offered a season ticket offer. They can get their season ticket for an early bird price by visiting the club’s official website www.leedsforce.co.uk
