Manchester Giants - 13

Stefan GILLThe experienced duo both return for a third season with the Giants, who move to a new home at the Lucozade Trafford Powerleague Soccerdome for the 2014-15 BBL campaign.

Gill and Watts were numbers one and two in the league’s three-point shooting percentages last season with 41.2 and 41.1 per cent respectively.

Their returns see the Giants, who rejoined the BBL in 2012, maintain their blueprint for utilising UK talent and maintaining squad continuity year on year.

Giants coach Jeff Jones said: “We are delighted to be able to bring Stef and Tintin back.

David WATTS“They have both been with us from the start and played a big part in what we have achieved so far in our short time in the league.

“We hope, with their experience and skills, they will continue to have a big influence. They both understand the ethos of what we are trying to do as a club and have important roles to play as we progress.”

Manchester-born guard Gill, 30, averaged 15.4 points per game last season with 3.4 assists.

Forward Watts, 31, from Mansfield, hit an average of 8.8 points per game, claiming 4.6 rebounds.

Both players are entering their fifth season in the BBL.

Gill previously had two seasons at Milton Keynes Lions and Watts starred for the same period at Worcester Wolves.
