Leeds Carnegie Basketball returned to winning ways on Saturday with a tough fought 76-67 victory over physical Westminster Warriors at the Leeds Metropolitan University Sports Arena, while the Carnegie Women also celebrated.
Week 23 was a good week for the Wildcats and the Giants, both of whom are fighting for Play-Off places in the BBL. The Wildcats are in 7th place and are 12&14 while the Giants are joint 9th with the Rocks 9&15.
Later this summer the City of Glasgow will welcome the world for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Back in 2002 it was the City of Manchester who had the pleasure of hosting the Games.
