Northumbria Up Next For Carnegie

Northumbria had an outstanding debut season last year in Division One, having finished in 3rd place. They have however had a tough start to their second season having won only 2 of their first 8 games leaving them in 12th place.

Carnegie Head Coach Matt Newby is however aware of the threat that Northumbria pose saying “Team Northumbria always field a highly competitive and well drilled team. Tonight we expect a dogfight, these games are traditionally close and high octane affairs”

Carnegie have also had a tough start to the season, being hit by a spate of injuries throughout the squad. This has left them with a 3 win and 4 loss record leaving them in 6th place. Both teams will be keen to get to the Christmas break in winning form.
