The return of the Toronto-born thirty year old for his fifth and sixth seasons at the club is seen as a very important move given that Tuck can already boast two BBL Cup Winners medals and a BBL Trophy winners medal in his career at the Sharks.

Tuck, who is also a British passport holder, has become one of the leading big men in the British Basketball League and amassed impressive figures of 14.3 points per game with 8.8 rebounds per game last season as well as guiding his side to an unexpected BBL Trophy Final win.

Sharks Managing Director Sarah Backovic had this to say of the signing. ‘We are very pleased to have the security of Mike Tuck for the next two seasons. We believe it’s a testimony to his commitment to the club and our belief in his skills as a great captain.’
