At the EIS, Sheffield, the Eagles secured a hard-fought 81-84 victory on the night, thus handing them them a 169-151 aggregate victory over the two legs.27 points from Joe Chapman was the main performance for the Eagles from a scoring perspective, while Mike Tuck led the Sharks with 25 points personal on the night, but was not enough to help the home side to victory.

Fab FLOURNOY talks to Mike SHAFT after the game.

Both sides traded baskets for the majority of the game, but it was a Kareem Maddox basket that sparked a 9-0 burst in the final period to take the score out to 76-83 with 1:36 remaining in the game and the Eagles held on for the victory on the night, and as a result secure their semi-final berth.

The Eagles will now play the Surrey Heat in their semi-final, while the Raiders will meet BBL regular season champions, the Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders in the other semi-final with the winners squaring off for the BBL Championship at Wembley Arena on Sunday 28 April 2013.

The Raiders defeated the Rocks 87-78 at the Plymouth Pavilions to give them a 169-149 aggregate victory over the two legs.

29 points from Michael Ojo was the standout performance for the Raiders in the victory, but they were made to work hard by the Rocks as the visitors had lead by as many as 17 points midway through the second quarter.

A strong third period from the Raiders however saw Plymouth overturn the deficit and ultimately secure the victory and move on in the postseason push.
